We get ready wooden cutting with different shapes and concepts during Diwali. We can decorate it as we wish.I used paints, kundans and tubes so that it can be used for both wall deco and rangoli.
I wanted to keep decoration which depicts it's a 'BABY' function. After racking our brains for long my bhabhi gave me an idea of making a Joker out of the Nariyal(used for Neg purposes again give and take). Used color tubes and colored tapes and yes it was done too quickly than expected. Few envelops i enjoyed making for our give and take pratha for this function. You really get cool stuff in Crawford Market to get awesome decorations done .Its just that u have to think, think and keep thinking...
In the Event of Reyansh celebration at home my hubby finally got a Mandir. In the last few days from my due date just got my hands over a toran design which looks fairly simple to create at home. Not much material required other than some mobile boxes to get the bell cut out and Kundans and paints. Will look even better if done on something really hard base like acrylic.
Check out the Red Assan or Gaadi if you want to call it for Laddu Gopal in my Mandir. Very easy and fast to create. Can be used as a return gifts in Bhajan like get togethers.
Can be used to cover Aarti ki Thali's, Fruits Basket or any thali's kept during Sagai, Tilak etc.. Thali's look more elegant when kept covered rather than kept open until yes the Thali itself is really decorated and the contents are meant to be flaunted :)
